VUWSA has blacked out the windows lining the hub in Kelburn to protest against proposed changes to University Council.
Victoria has proposed changes that would take away all elected seats under the new reduced Council arrangement, and VUWSA has accused University management of “blacking out” the student voice.
Get it?
VUWSA is inviting students to leave messages on the gauze in chalk, and the drapes are already starting to fill up with such insightful gems as “this sucks”, “democracy is a false god”, and “Keith 4 Prez”.
