Tomorrow at 1pm there will be a gathering outside Parliament to draw attention to the human rights abuses in China in the lead up to the Olympics. It is also the first day of the trial of Ni Yulan who is a human rights activisit.
Ni Yulan has campaigned on behalf of the thousands of people who were forcibly evicted in Beijing durings China’s build up to the Olympics and she has a long history of calling the Chinese government into account for its actions.
