Beta Omega Chi (BOX) is New Zealand’s first fraternity. Unlike American-style fraternities, Beta Omega Chi has taken a Kiwi-style approach but keeping the name Greek. At BOX we organise large events for Orientation, Re-Orientation and our own Blow Out event to symbolise the end of the University year. We also run hotel parties, paintballing days and other such activities for our fraternity members. At BOX we also take part in helping the community and sponsoring 4•$500 scholarships that anyone enrolled at Victoria University can apply for. Don’t forget to register early for this, you don’t want to be doing it on the morning (but you will be able to so if you really need to). Staff, lecturers, wardens and students all are welcome to compete for this first ever orientation trophy event. The course has different levels of difficulty and you can even compete in a team of two. Check the website, and practice your swimming and running.
