National committee to help SJS with math skills

A national advisory committee will be set up as a part of the strategic management plan of Student Job Search (SJS).
NZUSA Co-President Josh Clark says SJS has been facing “some [business] issues that we now have managed to push behind us”, and that an advisory committee will be useful as a professional voice in “strategic business matters”.
The committee will be made up of a three person panel, providing expertise in fields such as accounting and financial advice. It will comprise people who have been successful in the private sector and who have access to contacts in “the business world”.
VUWSA President Geoff Hayward says the committee will add to the strength of the service on a local level, where a professional take on financial matters is currently lacking.
