On Friday 30th of May the Irish Society of Wellington will be hosting the third discussion group in a series about topical problems that we’re facing. This weeks discussion will be about food, is it necessary, and what function it plays in socieity. Alison White from the Safe Food Campaign of Wellington will be guest speaking.

The point of the discussion groups is to get people involved and aware of issues that are happening around them, but they’re not directly involved in. They’re not debates so it is just a laid back atmosphere where people can talk about stuff and gain an understanding. I’m guessing you’ll meet some Irish people, which is cool, because Irish people are cool, and friendly.

Where: 10 Fifeshire Avenue (off Cambridge Terrace)
When: Friday 30th May, 6:30 PM till 8 PM
Cost: FREE!
The Irish Society do this every fortnight, so come along for some good discussion over cheap beer ($7 jugs!!!) and wine (or coffee and tea).
