Another year, another election. Predictably enough, Tam took away the presidency. We at the office were surprised that Sam Mythen got Wellbeing and Sustainability, after her dramatic rendition of “I have a dream” (isn’t that copyrighted btw?). But we look forward to some lively exec meetings.
This year’s voter turnout, 3247, is around 15% higher than last year. It’s about 15% of the student population.
We’d also like to point out that this year’s exec is 70% female, 70% POC, and 30% Māori.
