The Bananas NZ Going Global International Conference, a signature cultural event which celebrates and explores the journeys of local and overseas born Chinese through personal storytelling, takes place later this month in Auckland.
The third ‘Banana Conference’ effort will continue to push the boundaries and offer a fresh way for all New Zealanders to examine and understand this country’s changing identity, culture and face.
Conference sessions will revolve around historical, social, economic, creative and cultural themes, with a focus on overcoming challenges on the road to success. A number of keynote speakers will address the conference. Organised by the New Zealand Chinese Association (Auckland Branch) Inc., the conference takes place August 18-19 at the University of Auckland Business School.
